Britain Loves a LaughFunny placards at protests

Britain has always loved a good protest. Perhaps it’s from our innate love of complaining about things, everything from the weather to the regularity of trains. Nothing relieves those weekday tensions better than having a bit of a moan. It makes sense then, that we are also a nation of protestors and love an opportunity to pack up our Thermos flask and paint up a placard.

The fact that most of the time we don’t actually know what we’re even protesting about doesn’t seem to be an issue, after all it’s all just good fun isn’t it? At least that’s what we try and say through our placards, as for every serious  ‘Lower Cost Of Education’ banner there is always at least one ‘I’m Just Here For The Donuts’ or ‘LOUD GROUP SHOUTING AND THINGS.’ And these are the true highlights of a protest. The ability to laugh in the face of adversity and a subject you probably don’t understand or have any authority to change.

Here are some of the best that we’ve come across.

Have you seen some funny protest signs? Share them with us here www.facebook.com/tmobileuk
